Tips
Changing the Shutter Speed affects how a
moving subject appears. Set a fast Shutter Speed
to shoot a fast moving subject clearly without
blur. Conversely, set a slow Shutter Speed to
emphasize the impression of movement.
You can set the Shutter Speed between 1/4
second and 1/10000 second in 60p movie mode
(NEX-VG900), 1/3 second and 1/10000 second
in 50p movie mode (NEX-VG900E), or 30
seconds and 1/8000 second in photo mode.
It is difficult to focus automatically at a
lower Shutter Speed. Manual focusing with
your camcorder attached to a tripod is
recommended.
When recording under fluorescent lamps,
sodium lamps, mercury lamps, or LED lighting,
the picture may have horizontal bands of noise.
You may be able to improve the situation by
adjusting the Shutter Speed.
