Notes on using the TV Guide On Screen system

In order to enjoy the TV Guide On Screen system and all of its

functions, please follow the precautions below.

• Your area of residence and zip code must be set correctly.

• The time must be set correctly.

• If a cable box is connected to the recorder, the set top box controller

must be connected and operating correctly.

•You must leave the recorder turned off (and your set top box must

be turned on) for at least 24 hours after completing Easy Setup.

•You may be asked to select a channel lineup the first time you

press TV GUIDE on the remote. Select one of the available lineups.

If the channel number in the TV GUIDE program list does not

match the broadcast station, select a different channel lineup.
